SOCIETY RECEIVES GRANT FROM CALGARY 2012!
Calgary 2012 is an independent, non-profit organization that helps showcase Calgary’s culture and supports creating legacy projects to encourage future cultural achievements. The goals of the organization are to raise awareness of the richness of Calgary’s cultural assets, empower cultural celebration and participation in every community in Calgary and to build a stronger sense of identity that have local and national impact. Calgary 2012 received nearly 500 grant proposals, as this is Calgary's year as the Cultural Capital of Canada. Applicants were reveiwed by their committee of qualified arts, culture and heritage representatives and we are proud to announce they chose to invest in the Artisan Gardens project at the Historic Bow Valley Ranche. This is a significant acknowledgement to our efforts as we celebrate this great achievement!
