Towering pines highlight The Ranche House, Native Gardens and the Foreman's House in a truly exceptional setting. The Bow Valley Ranche restoration brings together recreational space, interpretive walks, entertainment areas and educational stewardship opportunities for students, the community and general public, honouring our heritage and culture.

Artisan Hand Sculpted Benches “A Walk through Time”
Uniquely designed and hand sculpted from Canadian Limestone, each original piece of art will proudly recognize you and/or your company on the Ranche Promenade in perpetuity.
Local Artist and Master Sculptor, Gernot Kiefer has been commissioned by the Ranche at Fish Creek Restoration Society to create a magnificent addition to the historic grounds. The artist will create limestone benches, uniquely designed and sculpted to represent each donor’s vision. The benches will be featured along the promenade…your name in perpetuity.

About the Artist…Gernot Kiefer
Gernot Kiefer is an award winning Master Sculptor, born in Loerrach, Germany in 1942. He apprenticed and studied the art of stone sculpting in German and Swiss studios, working in realistic, contemporary and abstract styles. Gernot immigrated to Canada in 1972 and continued to pursue his passion, studying at the Alberta College of Art. Throughout his career, Gernot has produced an extensive collection of classic, contemporary and abstract works in stone and wood. Today, he continues to create, specializing in abstract sculptures, working in his Calgary studio.
