Artisan Gardens
The “Artisan Gardens” complete the Society’s vision to honour the First Nations People and the rich history of the Bow Valley Ranche. This project brings together celebrated Canadian artists and people interested in creating a lasting legacy within a living piece of art.
An important area for children’s outdoor learning opportunities, the Artisan Gardens ensure Alberta’s history, nature, and art will be honoured and represented in a very unique and culturally significant venue. Amphitheatre-style seating for groups of over 100 people is presented in a beautiful setting surrounded by art, inspired by three central themes: First Nations history, family, and the local natural environment. These themes are of key importance to Fish Creek Provincial Park, and are essential elements in its role in preserving and celebrating the history of the Fish Creek Valley.
Over 55 established Canadian Artists will showcase 85 pieces of original art in a one-of-a-kind art gallery, presented in nature and open to the public year-round .
Together with local artisans, these creations of art offer a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for you to participate in creating a lasting legacy to be enjoyed by your children, grandchildren and their grandchildren, for years to come!
